Sakura
The limited edition book is presented in a clam shell box. A window in the cover of the clam shell box frames a cherry blossom detail. The front cover of the book uses a similar treatment to frame another cherry blossom detail. It is an accordion style book contains fifteen archival prints. Tipped into the tile page is Japanese calligraphy of "Sakura" (sumi ink on washi). The prints vary in size throughout the book. The clam shell box is 15 1/16" x 15 1/16" x 1 1/2" ( 383 mm x 383 mm x 38 mm). The book size is 14" x 14" x 5/8" (355mm x 355mm x 20mm).

The book is printed and crafted in our studio using the Epson 9880 using Epson K - 3 inks with Vivid Magenta on Hahnemuhle Photo Rag 308. The accordion book components are fabricated using 100% rag mat board for the binding boards and clam shell. The adhesives are Bienfang Color Mount and PVA glue. The clamshell box is covered "Sage Green Mohair" by World Cloth Co Ltd. Japan. The accordion book covers are covered with #856 "Celery" Iris Bookcloth By Talas, Brooklyn, New York.
